About
Vivana
Viviana Jaramillo is a Certified Professional Midwife from South Florida who moved to Pagosa Springs to become a Registered Midwife to serve the familes of Southwest Colorado. She's a descendent of midwifery as her maternal great grandmother was a midwife in Colombia.

She has been in the birth world since 2016 and has attended births all throughout Florida and Colorado. Viviana began her education at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery where she met Kalie in Gainseville, FL in 2016. They formed a friendship and realized they have the same passion for helping familes achieve natural childbirth.
She has always been drawn to maternal care that provides autonomy and holistic care. She is passionate about providing informed consent, educating, and creating a safe space during pregnancy and labor.

In her spare time, Viviana loves to read and explore nature with her two dachshunds.
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

-Psalm 139:13-16
About
Kalie
Kalie Caler grew up in Pagosa Springs, Colorado where she currently is operating as a midwife for the entire Southwest Colorado region.

She is a graduate from a MEAC accredited midwifery school at Florida School of Traditional Midwifery. Kalie is a Certified Professional Midwife, as well as a trained Doula. She has been a part of the birthing world for the past eight years and is excited for many more to come.

Ever since Kalie was a little girl she knew she wanted to "deliver babies". Attending close family births when she was young quickly hooked her.
She is passionate about helping mothers have the birth that best suits them. She has a calm demeanor allowing each mother to experience the birth they always imagined.
She loves the continuity the services of a midwife provide-
from the day you find out your pregnant to 6 weeks after the birth.
It is a relationship important to her, as well as, you and your new baby. She believes every woman has/should have the right to natural childbirth and the ability to say what does and does not happen to their own body as well as their baby's.
She is excited your family is growing and would love to talk more!
